Tonello The Laser LAB Sampling Denim Laser Machine
Official manufacturer page: tonello.com
Develop and prove denim fades, distressing and graphics on a compact 80 by 80 cm laser table, using the same CREA design files you later scale to production. The Tonello The Laser LAB is built in Italy and supplied, installed and supported across India by Magnum.
About this machine
What The Laser LAB does
The Tonello The Laser LAB is a sampling laser machine for denim and garments. It marks fades, whiskers, distressing and graphics onto fabric with a laser beam on a compact 80 by 80 cm table, so a studio can develop and prove a finish without booking time on a production machine. HD mode handles small logos and fine detail at high definition, and the CREA software turns each design into a repeatable file.
Because the LAB uses the same CREA files as The Laser 2.0 and The Laser TM, a look approved on a sample is the same file that runs in production, so nothing is redrawn when a design moves to the floor.
Built for sampling, labs and stores
The LAB suits design and sampling studios, denim laboratories, R&D rooms and store or showroom setups that want to demonstrate laser finishing in a small footprint. Its compact body fits where a production laser will not, and the dry, chemical-free process means it sits in a studio without the water and effluent of traditional finishing.
Industries that use The Laser LAB
- Denim and jeans: developing fades, whiskers and worn-in looks before a production run.
- Design and sampling studios: iterating finishing looks and approving them as CREA files.
- Garment finishing labs: testing effects on new fabrics and blends.
- Brand and retail showrooms: demonstrating laser finishing on the spot.
Why source The Laser LAB through Magnum
Magnum is the authorised India partner for Tonello, the Italian garment-finishing specialist. We confirm the laser power and configuration with the factory, bring the machine in, clear customs, install it and train your team on the CREA design software. Optics and service then come back to us in India. If you are setting up a sampling or laser development room, talk to our engineers about the fabrics and effects you run and we will come back with real specs, a lead time we can hold to and a quotation matched to your setup.

High-Definition Detail
HD mode renders small logos, fine whiskers and detailed graphics at high definition, so a sample shows exactly what the production laser will reproduce.
CREA Files As Production
A design proven on the LAB is the same CREA file you run on The Laser 2.0 or TM, so a look moves from sampling to production without redrawing the effect.
Desktop Footprint
The 80 by 80 cm table and compact body fit a sampling room, lab or store, so laser development sits with the design team instead of on the production floor.

Questions Indian buyers ask us
Common questions Indian buyers ask us, answered upfront.
Design and sampling studios, denim laboratories, R&D rooms and store or showroom setups. It develops and proves laser finishing in a compact footprint before a look moves to a production laser.
The LAB is compact, with an 80 by 80 cm table, and is built for sampling, labs and stores rather than volume. It shares the CREA software with The Laser 2.0 and The Laser TM, so a sample approved on the LAB is the same file you run in production.
HD mode renders small details, such as fine whiskers, small logos and detailed graphics, at high definition, so a sample shows exactly what the production laser will reproduce.
It works on an 80 by 80 cm fixed table, horizontally, and comes in 115, 200 and 300 W power options. We help you pick the right power for your fabrics with the factory.
No. The laser marks the fabric with light, so the process is dry and chemical-free. It replaces hand-sanding, potassium permanganate spray and bleach for creating the effect.
Yes. The LAB uses the same CREA files as the larger lasers, so a design approved on a sample is the same file in production and nothing is redrawn when it moves to the floor.
Price depends on the laser power and configuration, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 12 to 16 weeks including manufacture, freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.
Magnum is the authorised India partner for Tonello. We source the machine from the factory, manage freight and customs, coordinate installation and start-up with OEM-backed engineers, train your team on the CREA software, and supply genuine optics and wear parts to order.
