What we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

Effective 2 July 2026

SARA International Private Limited, which operates the Magnum brand ("Magnum", "we", "us" or "our"), supplies, imports, installs and services industrial machinery and automation for industrial fabrics, technical textiles, composites, geosynthetics, architectural membranes and flexible materials across India, as the India partner for several Indian and overseas manufacturers. This website, https://staging.magnumresources.co.in, is where you read about that machinery and get in touch with us. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you do, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. By using this site or sending us an enquiry, you accept the practices set out here.

1 What we collect

a) What you give us

When you fill in a form on our site, whether a general enquiry, a product or quote request, a service request or a job application, you share details such as:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone or WhatsApp number
  • Company name and your role
  • The machine or solution you are asking about, and your message
  • A resume or CV, if you apply for a job

We ask only for what we need to reply to you. We do not take payments on this website, so we never ask for card, UPI or bank account details here. We also do not ask for sensitive data such as health records, caste, religion or biometric information, so please do not include any of that in a form or CV.

b) What we collect automatically

Some technical data is picked up as you browse, through cookies and analytics tools:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages you visited and how long you spent on them
  • The site or search that brought you here
  • Campaign tags and advertising click identifiers, when you reach us from one of our ads on platforms such as Google, Meta or LinkedIn
  • Device type and operating system

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. Both set cookies in your browser, which you can control as explained in section 5.

2 Why we use it

We use the data you give us to:

  • Reply to your enquiry and send the specs, catalogues or quote you asked for
  • Arrange service visits and put you in touch with our engineers
  • Consider your job application
  • Keep a record of your enquiry in our sales CRM, so the right person follows up and you are not asked the same questions twice
  • Understand which campaigns and channels bring us useful enquiries, and reach relevant audiences with our own advertising on platforms such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn
  • Keep the website working and improve it
  • Send the occasional product or industry update, but only if you have opted in

We rely on your consent when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in running the business you contacted us about. Saying no to marketing does not affect your enquiry.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We use it to deal with what you contacted us about and, as this policy explains, for our own marketing. We never pass it to another company for their marketing.

3 Your consent

When you submit a form, you consent to us using your details to respond. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us using the details in section 12. Withdrawing consent stops us using your data going forward. It does not undo anything we did lawfully before, and we may keep records that the law requires us to keep.

4 Who we share it with

We share your personal data only in these situations:

  • With service providers who host this site, run our customer relationship management (CRM) tools or help us handle enquiries, under confidentiality terms, and only so they can do that work for us. Some of these providers store data on servers outside India.
  • With the manufacturer whose machine you asked about, so they can help us answer you. Several of these manufacturers are based outside India, so your enquiry details may be sent abroad for that purpose. We share only what is needed to reply to you.
  • With advertising platforms such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn, in a protected, coded form, only so we can measure our campaigns and show our ads to relevant audiences. These platforms may process that data outside India, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. You can opt out of this at any time using the details in section 12.
  • With authorities, regulators or courts, where Indian law or a valid legal process requires it.

5 Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our site uses two kinds. Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics, tell us which pages people read and which they do not. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site may not work as well.

6 How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and service records for as long as we are dealing with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off and meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. Job application data is kept for the role you applied for and a limited time after, unless you ask us to remove it sooner. Once data is no longer needed and we are not required to keep it, we delete it.

7 How we protect it

The site uses SSL/HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted on its way to us. We apply reasonable security practices to the data we hold, in line with the IT Act and its rules. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take the care that is expected of us and limit access to your data to people who need it to do their job.

8 Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how we have used it
  • Correct or complete anything that is wrong or out of date
  • Erase data we no longer need or that you no longer want us to keep, subject to any legal duty to retain it
  • Withdraw your consent or opt out of marketing
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to

To do any of these, write to us using the details in section 12 and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.

9 Children's data

This site is meant for businesses and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete the data.

10 Links to other sites

We link out to manufacturer and partner websites. Once you leave our site, their own privacy policies apply, not ours. It is worth reading theirs before you share anything with them.

11 Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. We do not send a separate notice, so please check back if it matters to you.
