About CO-DRIP

CO-DRIP factory and manufacturing facility

CO-DRIP, Qingdao CO-DRIP Irrigation Machinery Co., Ltd., manufactures the composite and polyester strapping production line that Magnum supplies in India. The line converts polyester yarn and PE resin into high-strength industrial strap, with two practical configurations: wide-format PET strap from 40 to 100mm for heavy bundling and geotechnical ground reinforcement, and composite cord strap from 9 to 32mm.

The system runs with PLC control, automatic break detection and on-line water-tank temperature sensing, built around ISO and EU quality standards. Magnum handles pre-sales sizing, customs clearance, installation, start-up, operator training, AMC and genuine spare parts directly through CO-DRIP's Qingdao factory, so buyers have one accountable India contact after start-up.

Where CO-DRIP Machines Are Used

The CO-DRIP composite and PET strapping production line serves these manufacturing segments in India. Magnum provides pre-sales sizing, installation, operator training, AMC and after-sales service for buyers in each segment.

01

Existing PET Strap Manufacturers

For PET and polyester strap makers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi NCR, Tamil Nadu and beyond looking to add a second line, expand monthly tonnage, or upgrade older extrusion equipment with a PLC-controlled CO-DRIP production system.

02

Wide-Format PET Strap Producers

For producers targeting heavy bundling applications where wider 40 to 100mm PET strap is required: steel coil binding, lumber and timber bundling, brick and block packaging, paper-mill reel binding, geotechnical ground and slope reinforcement, and other heavy-load cargo.

03

Composite Cord Strap Producers

For manufacturers entering or expanding in the composite cord strap segment, marketed as an alternative to steel strapping. Polyester yarn plus extruded PE coating, with single or twin-strip output configurations for higher throughput per shift.

04

New Strap Manufacturing Entrants

For entrepreneurs and packaging companies setting up captive or commercial strap production. A turnkey extrusion-to-winding line supplied, installed and brought online by Magnum, with operator training and AMC included.

The CO-DRIP Advantage

What the CO-DRIP line brings to your floor

The reasons to bring strap production in-house on a CO-DRIP line come down to two things: the machine itself, and who supports it once it's running in India. Here's the detail if you're costing a new line or adding capacity.

Two Configurations, One Machine Family

Wide-format PET strap or composite cord strap, from one supplier and one accountability chain.

PLC Control + Online Monitoring

PLC control with automatic water-tank temperature sensing and break detection to cut downtime.

Single or Twin-Strip Output

Composite cord runs 1 or 2 strips per pass, lifting throughput without extra floor space.

Polyester Yarn + PE Coating Process

Polyester yarn sheathed in extruded PE and diamond-knurled for buckle grip and tension retention.

ISO + EU Quality Standards

Built to ISO and EU quality standards, already running in European export markets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Buying CO-DRIP in India, Quick Answers

What does the CO-DRIP strapping machine actually produce?

Two strap types from one machine family. Wide-format PET strap in 40 to 100mm widths, and composite cord strap in 9 to 32mm widths. Both are polyester-yarn-core straps with an extruded PE coating, used as a cost-effective alternative to steel strapping in industrial packaging.

What is the output capacity of the CO-DRIP strapping line?

The wide-format PET strap configuration runs at 20 to 60 m/min with 300 to 450 kg/h output. The composite cord strap configuration runs at 120 m/min line speed with 100 to 200 kg/h output and 1 or 2 strips per pass. Total installed power is 90 to 120 kW for PET strap and 60 to 110 kW for composite.

Is the CO-DRIP strapping production line available in India?

Yes. Magnum is the authorised India distributor for this CO-DRIP machine. Sales, installation, start-up, operator training, AMC and genuine spare parts are available, with technical and parts support coordinated directly with CO-DRIP's Qingdao factory.

How does composite strap compare to steel strapping?

Composite cord strap is as strong as steel for most binding applications, weather-resistant, lighter per metre, safer to handle (no sharp edges or sprung-back injuries), shock-absorbing under tension and printable for brand marking. The material cost per metre is typically lower than steel for equivalent break strength, which is why paper mills, lumber yards and brick manufacturers are switching.

What raw materials does this machine process?

Polyester yarn fed from creels, plus PE (polyethylene) resin for the extruded coating layer. The polyester yarn supplies the tensile strength; the PE sheath provides UV resistance, abrasion resistance and a printable surface. Both raw materials are widely available from Indian polymer and yarn suppliers.

Who typically buys this CO-DRIP production line?

Existing PET and polyester strap manufacturers expanding capacity or upgrading older equipment, manufacturers entering the composite cord strap segment, and packaging companies setting up captive or commercial strap production. The two configurations cover both wide-format heavy-cargo bundling and general packaging strap markets.

What is the typical delivery time for a CO-DRIP machine to India?

Standard production lines typically ship within 12 to 16 weeks from the Qingdao factory, depending on configuration and current factory load. Loading is from Qingdao or Shanghai seaport. Contact our team for current lead times and full landed-cost estimates including customs duties.

Does Magnum provide installation and AMC for CO-DRIP machines?

Yes. On-site installation, start-up, operator training, preventive maintenance contracts (AMC) and service support across India. Genuine CO-DRIP spare parts are supplied directly from the Qingdao factory.
