About this machine

What the G1 LD-LD3 does

The Tonello G1 LD-LD3 is a low-speed-spin sampling dyeing machine built to reproduce production faithfully. It mirrors the processes, effects and performance of the production machines, so a recipe proven on it transfers up without being reworked. The LD3 variant adds a reduced-volume drum, the same diameter but a lower minimum load at the same liquor ratio, which makes small sampling batches economical.

It is compatible with Tonello's Core, UP, NoStone, EGO, DyeMate and Metro technologies, and the G1 70 suits the UP system, which reduces the liquor ratio to as low as 3:1.

Built for faithful sampling

The G1 LD-LD3 suits dye houses and labs that need sample results they can trust to repeat at production scale, particularly where the production machine runs a low-speed spin. The reduced-volume LD3 drum keeps trial batches small without changing the liquor ratio, so development stays close to production conditions.

Industries that use the G1 LD-LD3

  • Denim and garment dyeing: developing recipes that transfer cleanly to production.
  • Knitwear and delicate fabrics: low-speed-spin handling during sampling.
  • Dye houses and labs: small, economical trial batches with the LD3 drum.
  • Water-conscious plants: UP-ready sampling at a liquor ratio as low as 3:1 on the G1 70.

Why source the G1 LD-LD3 through Magnum

Magnum is the authorised India partner for Tonello, the Italian garment-finishing specialist. The right drum, spin and technologies depend on your fabric and batch size, so we settle those with the factory first. We bring the machine in, clear customs, install it on your floor and train your team on the dyeing recipes, then keep service and spares with us in India. Talk to our engineers about the recipes you develop and we will return real specs, a lead time we can hold to and a quotation matched to your floor.

What this machine saves you

The numbers Indian manufacturers use to justify the CAPEX internally.

Faithful

Reproduces Production

The G1 LD-LD3 faithfully reproduces production processes, effects and performance, so a recipe proven on it transfers to the production machine without being reworked.

LD3

Smaller Minimum Loads

The LD3 reduced-volume drum keeps the same diameter but lowers the minimum load at the same liquor ratio, so small sampling batches run economically.

As low as 3:1

Liquor Ratio with UP

Fitted with UP technology, the G1 70 reaches a liquor ratio of LR 3:1, so even sampling runs use far less water, chemistry and energy.

FAQs

Questions Indian buyers ask us

Common questions Indian buyers ask us, answered upfront.

Dye houses and labs that need sample results they can trust to repeat at production scale, especially where the production machine runs a low-speed spin and where small trial batches matter.

Both are low-speed-spin sampling machines. The LD3 adds a reduced-volume drum of the same diameter, which lowers the minimum load while keeping the same liquor ratio, so smaller batches run economically.

Yes. It faithfully reproduces production processes, effects and performance, so a recipe proven on it transfers to the production machine without being reworked.

Core, UP, NoStone, EGO, DyeMate and Metro. The G1 70 in particular suits the UP system, which reduces the liquor ratio to as low as 3:1.

Both are sampling machines; the G1 LD-LD3 has a low-speed spin-cycle while the G1 HD has a high-speed spin-cycle. The choice follows the fabrics and the production machine you are matching.

It lowers the minimum load at the same liquor ratio, so you can run small sampling batches without changing the dyeing conditions, keeping development close to production.

Price depends on the drum, spin and technologies you choose, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 12 to 16 weeks including manufacture, freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.

Magnum is the authorised India partner for Tonello. We source the machine from the factory, manage freight and customs, coordinate installation and start-up with OEM-backed engineers, train your team on the dyeing recipes, and supply genuine wear parts and dosing components to order.
