Overview

About this machine

What the SIGNA 4 makes

The Zemat SIGNA 4 is a compact HF welder for smaller-scale or starter production of formed plastic and coated-fabric products: blister and clamshell packaging, medical containers such as blood and ostomy bags (with switchable welds for tubes and the outer edge), laboratory and rehabilitation equipment, automotive parts and cosmetics. A front-load pneumatic shuttle tray and a 400 by 600 mm table keep it simple to run.

Buyers call it a compact HF welder, an entry-level high frequency welding machine, or a blister packaging welder. It is the smallest of the SIGNA flat-bed family.

Compact, with heat-seal conversion

The SIGNA 4 runs 4 kW, enough for small and medium parts, with a heated electrode plate up to 160 degrees Celsius for consistent welds on hard PVC and PET foils and PU foams. It converts to a standard heat sealer for PP and PE, has a 6-inch touch screen HMI with PLC, stores over 1000 recipes, and uses a QuickGRIP electrode change system. An optional switchable double weld runs two welds in one operation.

What high frequency welding can and cannot join

HF welding works on polar thermoplastics: PVC, PU, PET, A-PET and PLA films. It does not weld non-polar plastics such as polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), which is why the SIGNA 4 offers a heat-seal conversion for those.

Who the SIGNA 4 is built for in India

  • Small and starter packaging producers: blister and clamshell packs at moderate volume.
  • Medical device and bag makers: blood and ostomy bags with tube and edge welds.
  • Automotive and cosmetics part makers: smaller welded parts and assemblies.

Why source the SIGNA 4 through Magnum Resources

Magnum Resources is the authorised India partner for Zemat Technology Group. We size the tooling with the factory for your parts, manage import and customs, and train your operators at start-up. Wear parts and technical support run through the same contact afterwards.

FAQs

Questions Indian buyers ask us

Real questions from our last 50 enquiries, answered upfront.

The SIGNA 4 welds blister and clamshell packaging, medical containers such as blood and ostomy bags, laboratory and rehabilitation equipment, automotive parts and cosmetics. It is the compact, entry-level machine in the SIGNA flat-bed family, with a 400 by 600 mm table.

The SIGNA 4 is a single, front-load tray at 4 kW with a 6-inch HMI, sized for smaller parts and moderate volumes. SIGNA and SIGNA DUO offer higher power (6 to 20 kW) and single or double side-load trays for higher output. The SIGNA 4 is the right starting point if your volumes are modest.

Not by high frequency, since PP and PE do not heat under an HF field. The SIGNA 4 converts to a standard heat sealer, which does join PP and PE, so one machine covers both processes.

It HF welds PVC, PU, PET, A-PET and PLA films, with a heated electrode plate up to 160 degrees Celsius for consistent welds on hard PVC and PET foils and PU foams.

Buyers are small and starter packaging producers, medical device and bag makers, and automotive and cosmetics part makers who want a compact, affordable HF welder.

Typical lead time is around 16 to 20 weeks from the Zemat factory in Poland. Magnum manages import, customs, delivery, installation and operator training at start-up, with spares and support afterwards.
