MEGA High Frequency Welder for Automotive & Medical Production
Seal automotive panels, carpets, PU foam and medical equipment on a 20-ton, 15 to 30 kW high frequency welder with single or double shuttle work stations. The Zemat MEGA is built in Poland and supplied, installed and supported across India by Magnum Resources.
About this machine
What the MEGA high frequency welder makes
The Zemat MEGA is a high frequency (HF) welder for large, high-precision dielectric welding and embossing. It seals and embosses laminated PU foam, car and truck door panels and tops, automotive trunk floors and covers, automotive and airline carpeting and seat covers, plus medical, laboratory and rehabilitation equipment, safety vests and reflective signs. The large flat work table is built for positioning big parts and welding complex shapes.
Buyers call this kind of machine by several names: an HF welder, a high frequency welding machine, an RF welder (radio frequency welding is the same technology), a dielectric welder, or an HF plastic welding machine. If you searched for any of those, this is the machine they describe.
Built for heavy and complex production in India
The MEGA is aimed at manufacturers whose parts are too large, too thick or too shaped for a standard bench welder: automotive interior and trim suppliers, medical and rehabilitation equipment makers, PU foam laminators and embossers, and producers of safety and protective equipment. Its 20-ton press and 15 to 30 kW power range handle reinforced, heavy materials that a small welder cannot close cleanly.
The single or double shuttle work tray is the throughput story: with the double-station option, the operator loads and unloads one tray while the other is inside the shielded cage welding, so the machine is not waiting on the operator. A heated electrode platen with temperature presets is available where the seal needs extra consistency.
What high frequency welding can and cannot join
HF welding uses a high frequency electromagnetic field to heat a material from the inside, then presses it to form a weld. It works on polar thermoplastics: PVC, polyurethane (PU and TPU), EVA, PET-G and many coated technical fabrics. It does not weld non-polar plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) or PTFE, because those materials do not heat under an HF field. If you are unsure whether your material welds, send us a sample and Zemat will test it.
Industries the MEGA serves
- Automotive and airline: door panels, door tops, trunk floors and covers, carpets, seat covers, sun visors, headliners.
- Medical and rehabilitation: medical mattresses, laboratory and rehabilitation equipment, protective covers and medical-grade fabric products.
- PU foam lamination: laminated PU foam embossing for interiors and padded products.
- Safety and protective gear: safety vests, reflective signs, tactical and protective clothing.
Why source the MEGA through Magnum Resources
Magnum Resources is the authorised India partner for Zemat Technology Group. One team handles the whole chain: sizing the machine and tooling with the Zemat factory for your parts, managing import and customs, installing it on your floor, and training your operators at start-up. Wear parts and technical support run through the same contact afterwards. If you are weighing up a high frequency welder for automotive, medical or technical-textile work, talk to our engineers about your part size, material and weld area and we will configure the right MEGA build.

Power for Heavy Materials
Switchable HF output up to 30 kW closes reinforced and heavy-duty materials cleanly, the kind a small bench welder cannot seal in one pass.
Shuttle Throughput
The optional double shuttle lets an operator load one tray while the other welds inside the cage, so the press is not waiting between cycles on long runs.
Tooling & Electrodes
Zemat designs and cuts custom electrodes and dies in its own tooling department, so a complex part shape does not depend on a third-party toolmaker.

Questions Indian buyers ask us
Real questions from our last 50 enquiries, answered upfront.
The MEGA welds and embosses laminated PU foam, car and truck door panels and tops, automotive trunk floors and covers, automotive and airline carpets and seat covers, sun visors and headliners, plus medical, laboratory and rehabilitation equipment, safety vests and reflective signs. Its large flat work table is built to position big parts and weld complex shapes, which is where it differs from a small bench welder.
High frequency welding, also called radio frequency (RF) or dielectric welding, uses a high frequency electromagnetic field to heat a material from within and then presses it to form a strong, sealed weld. It works on polar thermoplastics such as PVC, polyurethane (PU and TPU), EVA, PET-G and many coated technical fabrics. It does not weld non-polar plastics like polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) or PTFE, which do not heat under an HF field. If you are unsure about your material, Zemat will test a sample.
The main buyers are automotive interior and trim suppliers (door panels, trunk liners, carpets, seat covers), medical and rehabilitation equipment makers, PU foam laminators and embossers, and producers of safety and protective equipment. It suits manufacturers whose parts are too large, thick or complex for a standard HF bench welder.
HF power output is switchable from 15 kW to 30 kW, which lets the machine handle reinforced and heavy materials as well as standard work. The press is a welded H-frame hydraulic unit rated at 20 tons, giving the clamping force needed for large weld areas and embossing.
The single-station MEGA is the simpler, lower-cost build for moderate volumes. The double-station shuttle lets the operator load and unload one tray while the other is welding inside the shielded cage, so the machine is not idle between cycles. If you run long production batches or a second shift, the double station usually pays back through higher output per operator.
The MEGA is designed and built to current European machine-safety and EMC requirements, and Zemat runs its own ISO 17025 certified EMC laboratory, with onsite EMC compliance testing available for CE and UL standards. Operator safety comes from a fully shielded HF weld cage with safety gates, the ZTG AntiFlash ultrafast ARC sensor with output overload protection, the ZTG SafeDown anti-crush electrode motion system, a grid filter, safety switches and protection from backflow HF emission.
Yes. Zemat has an in-house tooling department that designs and makes the electrodes and dies a specific part needs, and the MEGA uses a quick-change electrode holder so you can switch tools between jobs. Send us the part drawing or a sample and we will scope the tooling with the factory.
Typical lead time is around 16 to 20 weeks: build and EMC testing at the Zemat factory in Poland, then sea freight and customs into India. Magnum Resources manages the import, customs clearance, delivery, installation and operator training at start-up. Spares and technical support stay with the same Magnum contact after the machine is brought online.
