About this machine
What the MAGNA high frequency welder makes
The Zemat MAGNA is a high frequency (HF) welder for large-format work. Because the welding head is suspended over an open table with 360 degree access, it welds big PVC and PU coated structures that will not fit a closed bench welder: tents and tensile and membrane structures, advertising billboards, swimming pool liners and covers, oil booms, flood dams, water cisterns and tanks, truck covers, high-speed doors and fishery tanks.
Buyers call this a large-format HF welder, a gantry HF welder, a 360 degree welding machine, or an RF heat sealer for big structures. If your product is too large for a fixed table, this is the machine built for it.
MAGNA S, MAGNA L and MAGNA 3D
There are three versions. MAGNA S is a ceiling-suspended head at 10 to 25 kW with a 180 degree-plus rotating turret and a floor-level work table for handling heavy fabric. MAGNA L moves the head along an X-axis robotic beam (servo control, plus or minus 0.5 mm) over a 1,350 by 3,200 mm table with 4,000 kg downstroke, for long straight, curved or repeated parallel welds. MAGNA 3D is a gantry with true 360 degree rotation and servo X and Y movement, sized to your factory, for the most complex large weld patterns.
What high frequency welding can and cannot join
HF welding works on polar thermoplastics: PVC and PU coated technical textiles, the materials tents, covers, liners and booms are made from. It does not weld non-polar plastics such as polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE). If you are unsure about your coated fabric, Zemat will test a sample.

Power depends on version: MAGNA S runs 10 to 25 kW, MAGNA 3D runs 15 to 25 kW, and MAGNA L uses a 25 kW Hi-Q generator capable of seams up to 1,000 square centimetres. Our engineers size the power to your fabric weight and seam area.
The MAGNA welds polar thermoplastics: PVC and PU coated technical textiles, which is what tents, covers, liners and booms are made from. It does not weld non-polar plastics such as polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), because those do not heat under an HF field.
The buyers are makers of large technical-textile products: tent and tensile-structure fabricators, billboard and large signage producers, pool liner, oil boom and water tank makers, and truck cover and high-speed door fabricators. It suits any shop whose welds are too large for a fixed-table machine.
Yes, the MAGNA is fully CE compliant and EMI, OSHA and FCC rated, and Zemat runs its own ISO 17025 EMC laboratory with onsite testing available. Safety comes from the ZTG SafeDown anti-crush electrode system, ZTG AntiFlash ARC protection, EMC grounding feet, a grid filter and backflow HF emission protection.
Typical lead time is around 16 to 20 weeks: build and EMC testing at the Zemat factory in Poland, then sea freight and customs into India. Magnum manages import, customs, delivery, installation and operator training at start-up, with spares and support through the same contact afterwards.
