Composite & Polyester Fiber Strapping Production Line
Make high-strength composite cord strap and polyester fiber strap inside your own plant, instead of importing finished strap or buying it in. The Co-Drip dual-function strapping line is supplied, installed and supported across India by Magnum Resources.
About this machine
What the Co-Drip strapping line produces
The Co-Drip strapping production line is a dual-function extrusion line that makes two products on one machine: narrow composite cord strap (9 to 32 mm) for industrial packaging and cargo securing, and wide geo strap (40 to 100 mm) for ground reinforcement and retaining structures. Both are made by extruding a polyethylene layer onto high-tenacity polyester yarn, forming a diamond knurl through indented rollers, then cooling the strap in water troughs. It can run one composite core strap or two cord straps at a time, and every strap can be printed inline with your branding.
Buyers know this strap by many names. The same line makes composite cord strap, composite strapping, polyester cord strap, corded polyester strap, polyester (PET) fibre strap, woven cord strap and PP composite cord strap, all of it the modern, as-strong-as-steel alternative to steel band and PP packaging strap. If you searched for any of those terms, this is the machine that produces them.
Built for manufacturers who want to make strap in-house
This line is aimed at companies that already buy or import finished strap and want to bring production in-house: existing PET and polyester strap manufacturers expanding capacity, packaging converters adding a composite strap range, and paper, lumber and logistics suppliers who consume large volumes of strap. Instead of importing strap or buying it from a third party, you control quality, supply and branding on your own floor.
Typical output is 100 to 200 kg per hour of composite cord strap at line speeds up to 120 m/min, and 300 to 450 kg per hour in geo strap mode. A PLC control system with online monitoring runs the line, senses water temperature automatically and raises an alarm if a yarn breaks, so a small team can run it reliably across shifts.
Composite strap vs steel strapping
Composite and polyester cord strap is replacing steel banding across Indian industry for clear reasons. It does not rust or stain the goods it secures, it will not spring back and injure operators when cut, and it is far lighter to handle and ship. Depending on width, the corded strap reaches a break strength of roughly 0.5 to 8.5 tonnes, which is why it now replaces steel band even on heavy loads such as steel coil, pipe, timber and brick. It also keeps tension well and absorbs shock during transport, which protects loads better than rigid steel.
- Safety: no sharp recoil, no rust, and far lighter to handle than steel band.
- Load protection: retained tension and shock absorption guard cargo in transit.
- Branding: straps can be printed inline with your company name, logo and batch details.
- Durability: chemical resistant, weather resistant, will not rust or rot, and re-tensionable.
- Cost: in-house production removes import margins and lead time on bought-in strap.
Industries that use this strap in India
One line can serve almost any sector that bundles, palletises or secures a load. In India that includes:
- Paper, printing and packaging: bundling paper reels, cartons, pallets and export consignments.
- Timber and wood: sawmills, plywood, laminates, MDF and furniture bundling.
- Steel and metals: steel coil, pipe, tube, wire rod, aluminium sections and metal profiles, where high break strength matters.
- Building materials: bricks, blocks, tiles, cement bags, ceramics and sanitaryware.
- Textiles and agriculture: cotton and fibre bales, yarn cartons and agricultural produce.
- Glass, bottling, food and FMCG: palletised glass, bottles, cans and consumer goods.
- Logistics and export: container loading, cargo securing and third-party warehousing.
- Civil and infrastructure (geo strap mode): soil reinforcement, retaining walls, slopes and road or rail embankments.
Why source it through Magnum Resources
Magnum Resources is the authorised India partner for Co-Drip strapping technology. Work with us and one team carries the whole project: sizing the line with the factory, the import and customs, the installation, and operator training at start-up. Spares and support afterwards run through the same people, not a third party.
If you are evaluating a composite strap manufacturing machine or a full polyester fiber strapping production line for an Indian plant, talk to our engineers about throughput targets, strap specifications and site requirements. We will give you accurate specs, an honest lead time and a configured quotation.

The numbers Indian manufacturers use to justify the CAPEX internally.
Lighter Than Steel Strap
Composite cord strap delivers steel-like holding strength at a fraction of the weight, which cuts handling effort and freight weight versus steel banding.
Rust, Recoil & Injury Risk
Polyester fiber strap does not rust, rot or spring back like cut steel band, so it removes a common cause of warehouse and loading-bay injuries.
Products From One Line
The dual-function line makes both narrow composite cord strap and wide geo strap, so a single machine can serve packaging, paper, lumber and ground-reinforcement demand.

Questions Indian buyers ask us
Real questions from our last 50 enquiries, answered upfront.
It suits companies that want to make strap in-house instead of importing it: existing PET and polyester strap manufacturers expanding capacity, packaging converters adding a composite strap range, and paper, lumber and logistics businesses that consume large volumes of strap.
Composite cord strap offers steel-like holding strength for most packaging and bundling work while being lighter, rust-free and safer to handle. It will not recoil and injure operators when cut, and its retained tension and shock absorption protect goods better than rigid steel band.
It is a dual-function line. In composite cord strap mode it makes 9 to 32 mm strap at up to 120 m/min and 100 to 200 kg per hour. In geo strap mode it makes 40 to 100 mm strap at 20 to 60 m/min and 300 to 450 kg per hour.
Yes. The line produces printable strap, so your company name, logo, batch number and safety information can be applied inline during production.
Price depends on configuration and strap specification, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 16 to 20 weeks including manufacture, sea freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.
Magnum is the authorised India partner for Co-Drip. We source the line from the manufacturer, manage freight and customs, coordinate installation and start-up with factory-backed engineers, train your operators on site, and supply genuine wear parts to order. You keep one point of contact throughout.
Both. It is a dual-function line. In composite cord strap mode it makes 9 to 32 mm strap for packaging and cargo securing. In geo strap mode it makes wide 40 to 100 mm strap for soil reinforcement, retaining walls and road or rail embankments. You switch the line over to suit the product you need.
Almost any sector that bundles or secures a load: paper and printing, timber and plywood, steel, pipe and metals, bricks, blocks and building materials, cotton and textile bales, glass and bottling, food, beverage and FMCG, agriculture, and export logistics. Geo strap from the same line is used in civil and infrastructure work.
