About this machine

What the RFlex welds

The Miller Weldmaster RFlex is a high frequency welding machine, also called a radio-frequency or RF welder. It uses radio-frequency energy to fuse coated and laminated fabrics together from the inside out, forming a seam that is as strong as the material itself and fully waterproof. It welds PVC, PU, TPU and reinforced technical textiles, delivers 17 kW of RF output (22 kW efficiency) from a new-generation auto-tuning generator, and works with a 1.19 m electrode over a foldable worktable with a deep trough.

Buyers know this machine by many names. The RFlex answers searches for a high frequency welding machine, an RF welding machine, a radio frequency welder, a PVC welding machine, a PVC fabric welder, a dielectric welding machine and an industrial RF welder. If you searched for any of those, this is the machine that does the work.

Built for industrial coated-fabric welders

The RFlex is for manufacturers that join PVC, PU or TPU coated fabric and need a sealed, load-bearing seam. Tarpaulin and truck-cover makers, tent, awning and shade fabricators, inflatable and technical-membrane producers, and large-format signage finishers all use RF welding because a welded seam does not leak, fray or pull apart like stitching. The PLC and 10-inch touch screen make it accessible to operators of any level, and a 100-weld-cycle recipe memory keeps every repeat job to the same settings.

QuickGRIP lets you change electrodes and dies quickly between weld shapes, SafeDOWN guards the operator from the moving electrode, and built-in LED illumination plus the deep trough make placing and welding large panels straightforward. Manual, semi-automatic and automatic modes let you match the machine to the run.

RF welding vs sewing and vs hot-air welding

Stitched seams rely on thread and leave needle holes, so they leak, wick water and fail under load over time. RF welding fuses the material itself into a single continuous bond that is stronger and fully waterproof, with no thread to rot or holes to seal. Radio frequency is the right method for dielectric materials such as PVC, PU and TPU. For materials that do not respond to RF, such as PE and PP, a hot-air or hot-wedge welder like the Miller Weldmaster T300 is the better tool, and our team will point you to the right machine for your fabric.

  • Waterproof: a fused RF seam has no needle holes, so it does not leak or wick.
  • Strong: the weld is as strong as the parent material, not dependent on thread.
  • Consistent: 100 saved recipes and auto-tuning hold weld quality across shifts.
  • Versatile: QuickGRIP dies and manual-to-automatic modes suit varied weld shapes.
  • Right method: RF for PVC, PU and TPU; hot-air or wedge for PE and PP fabrics.

Industries that use the RFlex

Any plant that welds coated fabric is a fit. Miller Weldmaster lists the RFlex across:

  • Tarpaulins and covers: truck tarps, pool covers, protective and machine covers.
  • Tents and shade: tents, awnings, blinds, canopies and shade structures.
  • Inflatables and membranes: inflatables, evacuation slides and air structures.
  • Signage and advertising: billboards, banners and large-format signs.
  • Access and industrial: high-speed and roller doors, conveyor belts, athletic mats.
  • Agriculture and transport: greenhouse covers and aerospace technical fabric.

Why source the RFlex through Magnum Resources

Magnum Resources is Miller Weldmaster's authorised India partner, dealing directly with the US factory. RF welding lives or dies on the electrode, so we confirm the configuration and electrodes with the factory against your fabric and seam before you buy. We bring the RFlex in, clear customs, install it on your floor and train your team on the recipe system. Electrodes, dies and service then come through one familiar contact here.

If you are evaluating a high frequency welding machine or an RF welder for a tarpaulin, tent, inflatable or signage operation in India, talk to our engineers about your fabric, seam type and throughput. We will give you accurate specs, an honest lead time and a configured quotation.

What this machine saves you

The numbers Indian manufacturers use to justify the CAPEX internally.

17kW

Stable RF Output

A new-generation RF generator with auto-tuning holds a steady 17 kW (22 kW efficiency), so welds stay strong and consistent across heavy PVC and reinforced technical fabric.

100

Saved Weld Recipes

A 100-recipe memory means repeat jobs run to the same settings, so weld quality does not depend on the operator remembering parameters between shifts.

RF

Welds, Not Sews

Radio-frequency welding fuses PVC, PU and TPU into a seam that is stronger and more waterproof than stitching, with no needle holes to leak or wick water.

FAQs

Questions Indian buyers ask us

Real questions from our last 50 enquiries, answered upfront.

It suits manufacturers that join PVC, PU or TPU coated fabric and need a sealed, load-bearing seam: tarpaulin and truck-cover makers, tent, awning and shade fabricators, inflatable and technical-membrane producers, and large-format signage finishers. It is an industrial RF welding bench, not a handheld tool.

It welds PVC, PU, TPU and reinforced technical textiles using radio-frequency energy. Radio frequency suits these dielectric materials. For PE and PP fabrics, which do not respond to RF, a hot-air or hot-wedge welder is the right tool and we can advise on the Miller Weldmaster T300.

Stitching relies on thread and leaves needle holes, so seams can leak, wick water and fail under load. RF welding fuses the material into one continuous bond that is as strong as the parent fabric and fully waterproof, with no thread to rot or holes to seal.

It delivers 17 kW of RF output (22 kW efficiency) and draws about 22 kW. It accepts 240V 3-phase 60A, 400V 3-phase 40A or 480V 3-phase 40A, and needs compressed air at 2 cfm and 120 psi. We confirm the right configuration for your site.

Yes. A PLC and 10-inch touch screen drive manual, semi-automatic and automatic modes, and a 100-weld-cycle recipe memory recalls the exact settings for each job. QuickGRIP makes changing electrodes and dies between weld shapes quick.

Price depends on the electrode and die configuration and options, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 12 to 16 weeks including manufacture, freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.

Magnum is the authorised India partner for Miller Weldmaster. We source the machine from the factory, manage freight and customs, coordinate installation and start-up with OEM-backed engineers, train your operators on the recipe system, and supply genuine electrodes, dies and wear parts to order. You keep one point of contact throughout.

Tarpaulin, truck-cover and pool-cover makers, tent, awning and shade fabricators, inflatable and evacuation-slide producers, billboard, banner and signage finishers, high-speed and roller-door makers, and greenhouse and technical-fabric manufacturers.
