About this machine

What the T300 Flex welds

The Miller Weldmaster T300 Flex is a versatile tarpaulin welding machine that uses two methods on one bench: hot air, where heated air softens the material before pressure fuses it, and hot wedge, where a heated metal wedge passes between the layers and pressure rolls bond them. It welds at up to 30 m/min, lays a seam 10 to 50 mm wide, and produces 19 seam types, straight or curved, on PVC, vinyl, acrylic, polyurethane and technical textiles.

Buyers know this machine by many names. The T300 Flex answers searches for a tarpaulin welding machine, a hot air welding machine, a hot wedge welding machine, an industrial plastic welding machine, a banner welding machine, a geomembrane welding machine and a PVC fabric welder. If you searched for any of those, this is the machine that does the work.

Built for coated-fabric fabricators

The T300 Flex is the universal welder for plants that join coated and technical fabric across many products. Tarpaulin and cover makers, tent, shelter and structure builders, geomembrane and containment fabricators, truck-curtain and roller-door makers, and roofing-membrane and pool-cover producers all use it because one machine, with quick-change guides and dual arms, covers their whole seam range. A touch screen with recipe storage recalls the settings for each job, so output does not depend on the operator re-dialling parameters.

The dual arms configure straight or curved seams, head adjustments are quick and repeatable, and the machine runs from a single-phase supply at just 6 kW, so it fits a modest workshop as easily as a large fabrication floor.

Hot air and hot wedge vs sewing, and vs RF welding

Stitched seams leave needle holes and rely on thread, so they leak and fail under load. Welding fuses the fabric itself into a continuous, waterproof bond. Hot air and hot wedge work across a broad range of coated and thermoplastic fabrics and are ideal for long, fast, structural seams on tarps, tents and membranes. For the dielectric materials PVC, PU and TPU, where a precise sealed weld with shaped dies is needed, radio-frequency welding on the Miller Weldmaster RFlex is the partner method. Many fabricators run both. Our team will match the method to your fabric and seam.

  • Waterproof: a welded seam has no needle holes, so it does not leak or wick water.
  • Fast: continuous welding up to 30 m/min on long tarp and membrane seams.
  • Versatile: 19 seam types, straight or curved, from one machine with quick-change guides.
  • Two methods: hot air for shaped welds, hot wedge for fast straight seams.
  • Right method: hot air and wedge for the broad range; RF (RFlex) for sealed PVC, PU and TPU.

Industries that use the T300 Flex

Any plant that welds coated fabric is a fit. Miller Weldmaster lists the T300 Flex across:

  • Tarpaulins and covers: tarps, truck side curtains, pool and machine covers.
  • Tents, shelters and structures: tents, shelters, awnings and agricultural curtains.
  • Geomembranes and containment: geomembranes, containment booms and roofing membranes.
  • Signage and advertising: banners, signs and large-format display fabric.
  • Access and industrial: roller doors, conveyor belts, ducting and filtration screens.
  • Specialist: inflatables, evacuation slides, athletic mats and cured-in-place pipe liners.

Why source the T300 Flex through Magnum Resources

Magnum Resources is the authorised India partner for Miller Weldmaster, the US fabric-welding specialist. The T300 Flex covers a lot of seams, so we agree the seam configuration and guides with the factory around the products you actually make. We then handle the import and customs, install the machine and train your team on the recipe system. Nozzles, wedges and service stay with us once you are welding.

If you are evaluating a tarpaulin welding machine or a hot air and hot wedge welder for a tarpaulin, tent, geomembrane or signage operation in India, talk to our engineers about your fabric, seam types and throughput. We will give you accurate specs, an honest lead time and a configured quotation.

What this machine saves you

The numbers Indian manufacturers use to justify the CAPEX internally.

Up to 30m/min

Welding Speed

Welds continuous seams at up to 30 m/min, far faster than hand welding or stitching the long seams on tarpaulins, tents and membranes.

19

Seam Types

Dual arms and quick-change guides produce 19 seam types, straight or curved, so a single machine covers your whole product range instead of several jigs.

2-in-1

Hot Air + Hot Wedge

Both methods on one machine: hot air for shaped and detailed welds, hot wedge for fast straight seams, so you match the weld to the job.

FAQs

Questions Indian buyers ask us

Real questions from our last 50 enquiries, answered upfront.

It suits fabricators that join coated or technical fabric across many products: tarpaulin and cover makers, tent, shelter and structure builders, geomembrane and containment fabricators, truck-curtain and roller-door makers, and roofing-membrane and pool-cover producers. One machine covers their whole seam range.

Hot air uses heated air to soften the material before pressure fuses it, which suits shaped and detailed welds. Hot wedge passes a heated metal wedge between the layers while pressure rolls bond them, which suits fast straight seams. The T300 Flex does both on one machine, so you match the method to the job.

Stitched seams leave needle holes and rely on thread, so they can leak and fail under load. Welding fuses the fabric itself into a continuous, waterproof bond that is stronger and does not wick water, which is why tarpaulin, tent and membrane makers weld rather than sew structural seams.

Hot air and hot wedge on the T300 Flex work across a broad range of coated and thermoplastic fabrics and excel at long, fast, structural seams. Radio-frequency welding on the RFlex suits dielectric materials, PVC, PU and TPU, where a precise sealed weld with shaped dies is needed. Many fabricators run both, and we help you choose.

It welds at up to 30 m/min with a seam width of 10 to 50 mm and a 1 m throat. It handles PVC, vinyl, acrylic, polyurethane and technical textiles, and produces 19 seam types, straight or curved.

Price depends on the seam configuration and guides, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 12 to 16 weeks including manufacture, freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.
