About this machine
What the PS150 does
The Miller Weldmaster PS150 is a compact bag closing machine that seals filled single-fold bags by hot air welding. It folds the open top and fuses it into a pinch seal at up to 35 bags a minute, with a seal 25 to 64 mm wide and a heat source reaching 788°C. It is servo controlled to synchronise with the line, and a recipe system recalls the fold and seal settings for each bag type.
The PS150 turns up under several search terms. A BOPP bag closing machine or a poly-woven bag closing machine means this machine, and so do bag closing machine, paper bag closing machine, single-fold bag closer and pinch-seal bag closer. Different words, same PS150.
Built for poly-woven, BOPP and paper bag lines
The PS150 is for plants that fill and close bags in volume on a single-fold top: pet food and animal feed packers, BOPP and poly-woven sack lines, salt, sugar and food-powder packers, and multi-wall paper bag users. It handles poly-woven, thermoplastic and BOPP bags, and folds multi-walled paper bags that arrive with pre-applied glue. It is an inline machine on a compact footprint, so it drops into a new or existing line and keeps pace with the filler ahead of it.
A precision folding system gives clean, straight folds, a quick-change folding system lets you switch bag type quickly, and the recipe management system makes changing between batches a matter of recalling a saved setting. It runs from a three-phase supply at about 9 kW.
The PS150 vs the PS400, and welded vs stitched closing
Against a stitched bag top, a welded seal wins on the things that matter for fine product: there are no needle holes for salt, sugar or powder to sift through, no thread to break or contaminate food, and no consumable to reload. Within the range, the PS150 is the single-fold pinch-seal machine on a compact footprint, ideal for poly-woven, BOPP and paper bags. The larger PS400 adds a double-fold seal and a wider seal range for heavier or wider bag tops. Our team will match the machine to your bag and line.
- No sift-through: a welded pinch seal has no needle holes, so fine product stays in the bag.
- Food-safe: no thread or broken needles to contaminate the product.
- Compact: a smaller footprint than the PS400, easy to fit into a packing line.
- Wide bag range: poly-woven, thermoplastic, BOPP and pre-glued multi-wall paper.
- PS150 vs PS400: single-fold pinch and compact, versus PS400 double-fold and wider seal.
Industries that use the PS150
Any plant that closes single-fold bags in volume is a fit. Miller Weldmaster builds the PS150 for packaging lines across:
- Pet food and animal feed: poly-woven and BOPP feed and pet-food bags.
- Salt, sugar and food powders: salt, sugar, flour and dry-food packing.
- Fertiliser and agriculture: fertiliser, seed and agro-input bags.
- Grain and milling: rice, grain and milled-product bags.
- Multi-wall paper: paper bags with pre-applied glue.
- Contract packing: third-party and co-packing operations.
Why source the PS150 through Magnum Resources
Magnum Resources is the authorised India partner for Miller Weldmaster, the US fabric and packaging welding specialist. A bag closer has to sit correctly after your filler, so we confirm the bag type, fold and line speed with the factory before you commit. We bring it in, clear customs, fit it to your packaging line and train your team. Folding and seal parts then come back to us rather than an overseas desk.
If you are comparing a BOPP bag closing machine or a poly-woven bag sealer for a pet food, salt, food or fertiliser line in India, tell our engineers your bag type, fill rate and line layout. You will get accurate specs, a lead time we can commit to, and a quotation set up for your line.
Who the PS150 is built for in India
A compact, high-speed bag closer for lines that fill poly-woven, BOPP or paper bags, whether you pack pet food, salt, sugar or fertiliser. Find where you fit below.
Pet Food & Animal Feed Packers
Close poly-woven and BOPP pet food and feed bags inline at up to 35 a minute, with a clean welded pinch seal.
BOPP & Poly-Woven Sack Lines
Seal BOPP and poly-woven sacks shut with heat, no thread or hot melt to buy, break or reload.
Salt, Sugar & Food Powder Packers
Close salt, sugar and flour bags with a dust-tight welded seal, so fine product does not sift out.
Multi-Wall Paper Bag Packers
Fold and close multi-wall paper bags with pre-applied glue on a compact, servo-synced inline machine.

Bags Closed
It closes up to 35 single-fold bags a minute and syncs to your line with servo control, on a compact footprint that drops into a packing line without a long run of floor.
No Needle Holes
A welded pinch seal closes the bag with no stitch holes, so salt, sugar and powder do not sift out, and there is no thread to break or contaminate food.
Thread Or Hot Melt Added
The machine seals with heat alone, so on poly-woven and BOPP bags you drop the cost of thread, needles and hot melt, and the downtime of thread breaks.

Questions Indian buyers ask us
Real questions from our last 50 enquiries, answered upfront.
It suits plants that fill and close single-fold bags in volume: pet food and animal feed packers, BOPP and poly-woven sack lines, salt, sugar and food-powder packers, and multi-wall paper bag users. It is a compact inline machine that fits a packing line, not a hand-held sealer.
It handles poly-woven, thermoplastic and BOPP bags, and folds multi-walled paper bags that come with pre-applied glue. It closes single-fold tops with a pinch seal.
It folds the open top of a filled bag and hot air welds it into a pinch seal, at up to 35 bags a minute with a seal 25 to 64 mm wide. The machine adds no thread, glue or hot melt of its own.
The PS150 is the single-fold pinch-seal machine on a more compact footprint, ideal for poly-woven, BOPP and paper bags. The PS400 adds a double-fold seal and a wider seal range, up to 5.5 inches, for heavier or wider bag tops. We help you pick based on your bag and line.
A stitched top leaves needle holes, so salt, sugar and powder sift out, and broken needles or loose thread can contaminate food. A welded pinch seal closes the bag with no holes and no thread, which is cleaner, tamper-evident and lower in running cost.
It runs on 230V three-phase at 40A or 480V three-phase at 25A, draws about 9 kW, and needs compressed air at 20 cfm and 90 psi. We confirm the right configuration for your site.
Price depends on the bag type, fold configuration and line integration, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 12 to 16 weeks including manufacture, freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.
