LIDEM TR & TRS Industrial Shredding Mill
Official manufacturer page: lidem.com
Shred foam, textiles, plastics and fibre waste back into reusable material on a high-capacity mill up to 1,500 kg/h, with interchangeable sieves and belt or hopper feed. The LIDEM TR & TRS is a Spanish-built industrial shredding mill, supplied, installed and supported across India by Magnum.
About this machine
What the TR / TRS shredding mill does
The TR and TRS are industrial shredders built for recycling and material recovery. Material is fed in by a variable-speed conveyor belt or a hopper, torn down by the rotor, and sized by an interchangeable sieve, so the same mill produces a coarse or fine output depending on the screen fitted. A built-in fan moves the shredded fibre to a bag or the next stage.
Buyers know this kind of machine by several names: an industrial shredder, a crushing mill, a foam crusher, a textile shredder or a recycling mill. If you searched for any of those, this is the machine that does the work.
Built for high-volume recycling
The TR55 (550 mm) and TR87 (870 mm) cover the higher end of LIDEM's shredding range, processing up to roughly 1,000 and 1,500 kg/h. The TRS variant is configured for heavier, continuous recycling duty. Reduced power draw for the throughput is a core part of the design, so the running cost per tonne stays low across a full shift.
Materials the TR / TRS shreds
- Foam and bedding: flexible foam, latex, viscoelastic, rebonded foam, padding, wadding and end-of-life mattresses.
- Textiles: woven and knitted fabric, carpets, nonwovens, wool and clothing offcuts.
- Plastics: PET bottles, films, raffia, big bags and laminated plastics.
- Technical waste: fibreglass and composite offcuts, paper and documents, agricultural film.
Why source the TR / TRS through Magnum
Magnum is the authorised India distributor for LIDEM, whose Ontinyent factory builds shredding, cutting and recycling machinery. We size the right model, sieve set and feed system for your material and tonnage with the factory, handle the import and customs, install the mill and train your team. LIDEM machines also support a live remote link to the factory for diagnostics, which we set up at start-up, and we keep service in India rather than passing you to an overseas help desk.
Who the TR & TRS shredder is built for in India
A high-capacity shredding mill for recyclers and manufacturers turning bulky waste back into reusable fibre, whether you process foam, textiles, plastics or technical offcuts. Find where you fit below.
High-Volume Foam & Mattress Recyclers
Crush end-of-life foam, latex and mattresses back into clean fibre for cushion and upholstery filling, at full production tonnage.
Textile, Carpet & Nonwoven Recycling
Tear woven and knitted fabric, carpets, nonwovens and wool offcuts into reusable fibre for recycling and re-manufacture.
Plastics, PET & Big-Bag Recycling
Reduce PET bottles, films, raffia and big bags to a uniform size for downstream washing, pelletising or re-use.
Fibreglass & Composite Offcut Recovery
Break fibreglass and composite production offcuts down to a handleable size for recovery rather than landfill.

Throughput
A high-capacity rotor and up to 1,500 kg/h mean bulky waste is reduced at production volume on one mill, instead of being trickled through an undersized machine.
Mill For Many Materials
Foam, textiles, plastics, paper and fibreglass run through the same mill, with the sieve setting the output, so a recycler does not need a separate machine for each waste stream.
Energy Per Tonne
An energy-efficient drive keeps the power draw per tonne low across a full shift, so the running cost stays down on long recycling runs.

Questions Indian buyers ask us
Common questions Indian buyers ask us, answered upfront.
It suits recyclers and manufacturers processing bulky waste at volume: foam and mattress recyclers, textile and carpet recyclers, plastics and PET processors, and plants recovering fibreglass or production offcuts. The TR55, TR87 and TRS cover the higher-capacity end of the LIDEM shredding range.
Foam, latex and viscoelastic, padding and mattresses, woven and knitted textiles, carpets, nonwovens and wool, PET bottles, films, raffia and big bags, fibreglass and composite offcuts, paper and documents, and agricultural film. One mill handles all of them with the right sieve.
Throughput depends on the material, the output size and the model. As a guide the TR55 (550 mm) runs up to around 1,000 kg/h and the TR87 (870 mm) up to around 1,500 kg/h. We confirm a realistic figure for your material with the factory.
By the sieve fitted under the rotor. The TR and TRS use interchangeable sieves, so you set a coarser or finer output, typically down to about 8 to 10 mm, by swapping the screen. No other change to the machine is needed.
Price depends on the model, sieve set, feed system and accessories, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 12 to 16 weeks including manufacture, sea freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.
