About this machine

What the MT compact shredder does

The MT is a compact shredding mill that shreds material back into a reusable fibre on a small footprint. The MT/7.5, MT/10 and MT/15 differ in drive power, so you match the model to your throughput. An interchangeable sieve sets the output size, and a quick-access top cover opens for cleaning and blade changes between jobs.

It is the affordable entry into LIDEM shredding for a workshop, a small recycler or an in-house recycling point, without the footprint or cost of a high-capacity line.

Built for small and mid-size recycling

With a 300 mm working width and output up to about 400 kg/h, the MT suits modest, varied batches rather than continuous high tonnage. Electronic safety elements and the quick-access cover make it straightforward for a small team to run and maintain.

Materials the MT shreds

  • Foam: flexible foam, latex, viscoelastic, rebonded and rigid foam.
  • Textiles: fabric, padded textiles and clothing offcuts.
  • Plastics: PET bottles, films, bags and tetrabrick containers.
  • Paper: paper and confidential documents.

What this machine saves you

The numbers Indian manufacturers use to justify the CAPEX internally.

Up to 400kg/h

Throughput

Up to 400 kg/h on a 300 mm width handles the modest, varied batches a workshop or small recycler actually runs, without the footprint or cost of a high-capacity line.

One

Mill For Many Materials

Foam, textiles, paper and plastics run through the same compact mill, with the sieve setting the output, so a small operation does not need a separate machine for each material.

Quick

Access & Cleaning

A quick-access top cover opens for cleaning and blade changes between jobs, so changeover on short, varied batches does not eat into the working day.

FAQs

Questions Indian buyers ask us

Common questions Indian buyers ask us, answered upfront.

It suits workshops, small recyclers and in-house recycling points that process foam, textiles, paper or plastics in modest, varied batches rather than continuous high tonnage. For higher throughput, the TR and TRS cover the larger end of the range.

Flexible foam, latex and viscoelastic, rebonded and rigid foam, fabric and padded textiles, paper and confidential documents, PET bottles, films, bags and tetrabrick containers. The right sieve sets the output size for each.

The models share the 300 mm working width but differ in drive power, which sets the realistic throughput for tougher materials. We help you match the model to your material and batch size with the factory.

Up to around 400 kg/h depending on the material, the output size and the model. Lighter foam runs faster than dense or mixed waste. We confirm a realistic figure for your material.

Price depends on the model, sieve set and accessories, so we quote each project individually. Typical lead time is around 12 to 16 weeks including manufacture, sea freight and customs, after which Magnum coordinates installation and operator training in India.

Magnum is the authorised India distributor for LIDEM. We size the right model with the factory, manage freight and customs, install the mill, train your operators, and set up the remote link to LIDEM in Spain for diagnostics. Service and spares stay with us in India.
