The FK Group Home Textile Spreader is built for the wide, heavy fabric that home-textile plants run: it works at 300 and 320 cm widths, lays up to 18 cm high (14 cm with the zig-zag device), and reaches a spreading speed of around 80 m/min. A reinforced floor-mounted roll loader takes rolls up to 200 kg and 50 cm in diameter.

Built for wide home-textile fabric

The Home Textile Spreader pairs with an FK Group cutting table so wide furnishing fabric is laid evenly and then cut automatically, with no hand spreading or hand marking in between. A patented cradle with individually tensioned belts feeds the fabric gently, and an anti-sinking catcher mechanism supports delicate fabric so it does not drop or distort as it spreads.

An operator riding platform lets the machine run semi-automatically or automatically, with or without an operator on board. An automatic threading control unit speeds up loading a new roll, and 4-wheel drive carries the head smoothly across the full 320 cm width. Installed power is 3.2 kW with average consumption around 2.4 kW, so a wide machine still runs at low cost.
